Isabelle Paagman joined Sotheby’s in 1999 as a European Fine Arts business advisor developing Internet auctions and moved to the Contemporary Art department as a Specialist in 2002.
In her current role, she makes extensive use of the five languages she speaks to secure numerous Contemporary Art consignments sourced from various European countries. Her expertise and passion for Contemporary Art, as well as active use of her European network for Contemporary Art sales, make her a key player in the development of international clientele for auctions in London, Paris and Amsterdam.
Prior to coming to Sotheby’s, she graduated with an Honours degree in Fine Art Expertise followed by a Master's degree in Art Business, both from l'Institut d’Études Supérieures des Arts in Paris.
