Award-winning designer Anya Hindmarch has been chosen as the curator of this year's Contemporary Curated exhibition and sale at Sotheby's in London. In a remarkable career spanning over twenty years, her brand has developed into a truly global business, with over forty stores worldwide. As a figurehead of British fashion, Hindmarch has brought her unique style and innovative approach to accessories design to an international audience. She is the inventor of the iconic Be a Bag range, in which customers can wear an Anya Hindmarch creation decorated with their personal photographs; and the hugely successful I'm Not a Plastic Bag tote, highlighting environmental issues and encouraging debate around our consumption of plastic.
A passionate collector and long-time supporter of contemporary art, Hindmarch is perfectly placed to bring together a dynamic selection of works, that will be offered for auction on 20 September. Click ahead to see her personal highlights of the sale.
