Nota a catalogo

Edward Shackleton was the son of Ernest Shackleton, and made several expeditions himself, before entering politics, where he adopted the slogan “With Shackleton to the poll”.

Shackleton has inscribed the book to Genatosan, the makers of Sanatogen, which the expedition ingeniously gave to their dogs as a supplement after polar bears had eaten much of their food.
