Peter Brant, Jr. is a model and student currently attending Bard College in New York. He has modelled for such publications as Interview Magazine and Harper’s Bazaar. Brant is the son of art collecting parents Peter M. Brant and Stephanie Seymour, who established the Brant Foundation Art Study Center in 2009, which hosts long term exhibitions and installations of Contemporary Art, most recently featuring works by Rob Pruitt, Dan Colen, Andy Warhol and Nate Lowman, among others. Since birth, Brant has been surrounded by art, and has developed a deep knowledge and appreciation of Contemporary Art and the art market.

I think the Basquiat Untitled (Charlie Parker’s All Stars) from 1983 really showcases Basquiat’s seminal style during his most celebrated period. He is one of my favorite artists, and I especially love his works which pay tribute to music legends like Charlie Parker, whom Basquiat so admired.
