Results: The 26 May sale brought a total of $1,930,688, with over 84% of lots sold. The auction was led by Sir Jacob Epstein's bronze Einstein, which sold for $112,500, well above its pre-sale estimate of $40,000-60,000. Other highlights of the sale included Oscar Dominguez’s Eolo (Aeolus) (illustrated), Maxime Maufra’s Nature morte, and Bernard Buffet’s La Cascade, all of which achieved prices over the high estimates.
