This season we will celebrate the art of collecting by honoring the curiosity cabinet. Showcasing the allure of collecting rare and unique objects, the catalog features a number of Kunstkammer-inspired vignettes. Silver and vertu highlights include animal and marine figures by Buccellati, Chinese and Japanese export vases and Viennese enamel, hardstone and rock crystal objects, in addition to our regular offering of English and Continental silver. Ceramics offerings include a pair of Sèvres vases and covers, French biscuit figures and Mintons and Sèvres pâte-surpâte vases among other English and Continental ceramics wares. Starting estimates range from $2,000 to $60,000, with many lots offered without reserve.
