Appearing for the first time at auction is one of Patek Philippe's most desirable watches released at the BaselWorld watch fair last year: the Ref.5270G 18k white gold perpetual calendar chronograph wristwatch with leap year and day/night indication. This is joined by four decorative and refined Patek Philippe platinum wristwatches with enamel dials depicting boats.
Highlighting the sale, however, are two extremely rare Philippe Dufour watches with exceptional provenance. The highly complex Philippe Dufour grande and petite sonnerie wristwatch, hand-crafted in 18k pink gold with an enamel dial, is a tour-de-force of the horologist's art of which only four were ever made. Another never-before-seen masterpiece in this sale is the Audemars Piguet grande and petite sonnerie open-faced pocket watch with enamel dial, made exclusively for the brand by Philippe Dufour, who made only five such watches.
