We have been advised by Jacques Piette, retired curator of the Alfred Boucher Museum in Nogent-sur-Seine, that the present marble was carved by a practicien working in Alfred Boucher's studio.
The Fundacion Mariano Benlliure have advised us that judging from photographs this cast is likely to be posthumous. However, from first hand inspection we maintain that this is a lifetime cast.
