Nearly 800 guests had the opportunity to immerse themselves in the luxurious world of Robert de Balkany as the extraordinary Hôtel Particulier opened its doors for three days for a series of events earlier this week. It comes ahead of the sales of the entrepreneur’s stunning collection in Paris on 20, 28 and 29 September. Ahead of the auctions, nearly 800 lots will be on view at the Galerie Charpentier from 16–19 September and then from 24–27 September. Speaking about the collector, Hubert de Givenchy said: “I admired Robert de Balkany’s dynamism, entrepreneur attitude and also taste for luxurious homes.
