The upcoming Contemporary Art Day Sale, which will take place in London on 29 June, presents an exciting selection of works by both established and emerging international artists. Highlights include masterpieces by leading names in Post War and Contemporary Art, such as Ai Wei Wei, Jean Dubuffet, Olafur Eliasson, Lee Ufan, an arresting abstract piece by Zao Wou-Ki and the iconic works of American Pop by Any Warhol and Tom Wesselmann.
Also offered are a beautiful selection of works by Günther Uecker, Heinz Mack and Otto Piene, the forerunners of the ZERO movement, and a group of works by Gerhard Richter, Georg Baselitz and Sigmar Polke. Furthermore, the sale includes, amongst many others, a stunning example of Frank Stella’s Pitchpoling,a delicate mobile by Alexander Calder and a luminous painting by Agnes Martin.
The sale will also feature strong examples of today’s most sought-after upcoming artists such as Tauba Auerbach, Cory Arcangel and Cheyney Thompson, wonderful works on paper by David Hockney, a compelling Bruce Nauman sculpture and a selection of embroidered works by Alighiero Boetti.
