The auction room was filled to capacity, including many new to the category from across Asia, attracted by fresh-to-the-market properties such as works from the Esteemed Collection of the late Professor Arthur Lim. Auction record was achieved for Filipino artist Jigger Cruz. While blue chip Indonesian works performed extremely well, for example, Lee Man Fong’s Boy with Flute on a Buffalo, which achieved ten times the low estimate.
