Yessica Marks joined Sotheby's in 2010. In her current role as Director and Head of Prints, she is responsible for leading the Prints Department in Europe and sourcing consignments for the department’s auctions with a particular focus on Modern and Post-War works.

As a specialist, Yessica has driven strong results for prints at auction across categories, including the notable sales of Andy Warhol’s Endangered Species and Banksy’s Girl with Balloon – Colour AP (Gold), both of which achieved world auction records for editions by these artists in 2021, as well as the highest-ever price for Edvard Munch’s The Scream in 2016.

Yessica has also been instrumental in the dispersal of major single-owner collections including Andy Warhol: Yours Truly | An Important Private Collection (2022), Yellow Ball: The Frank and Lorna Dunphy Collection (2018), Lord & Lady Attenborough (2016), and Gunter Sachs (2012).

More recently, Yessica played a key role in introducing dedicated Banksy sales in London and Sotheby’s first-ever Prints & Multiples auctions in Cologne.

Yessica has been an Auctioneer since 2019. She speaks fluent Swedish and travels regularly with a focus on Asia, Switzerland, Italy, Sweden and Norway.
