Biography
An art industry professional with over twelve years of experience in fine art auction, Sarah Shepard has built meaningful relationships with clients globally. She is an expert in fine art photography and facilitates business development by cultivating opportunities in the Pacific Northwest. Based in San Francisco, Sarah joined the company in 2014.
Beginning her career with Phillips in 2001, Sarah worked on the landmark Seagram’s Photography Collection which brought a fresh collection of works to a dedicated group of buyers, establishing many new world records. Further into her career at Christie’s, Sarah worked on the sale of memorabilia from the Plaza Hotel and a series of sales for The Berman Collection of Photography, notably a group of works by renowned photographer William Eggleston.
Sarah is involved with local non-profits and museum organizations such as SFMoMA Foto Forum and The San Francisco Art Institute.
