Brice Foisil began his career at Sotheby’s Paris in 1997 and has been Head of French Furniture there since 2000.
An expert in 18th century French furniture, Mr Foisil has been involved in major collections and furniture sales in Monaco and Paris, such as the sale of the contents from the Château de Groussay in 1999. He was instrumental in the success of The Laura Collection, the first single-owner sale by an international auction house to be conducted in Paris; the sale achieved FF 64,000,000.
Prior to joining Sotheby’s, Mr Foisil worked at Christie’s in London and Paris.
