Angus Milner-Brown joined Sotheby’s in 2002 as Head of the Salisbury office and is now Senior Director and Head of Scotland. Mr Milner-Brown has been involved with numerous successful sales including the Internationally renowned Scottish sale at Gleneagles Hotel. He travels widely across Scotland and has made important discoveries including an Chinese Imperial Qianlong Dragon vase, which realized over £1 million pounds in 2011. More recently he co-ordinated the successful sale of Carbisdale Castle’s Sculpture and Art collection.

He also worked as a consultant for Sotheby’s while Managing Director of a Scottish valuation business. He specialized in the brokerage of large country house contents and organized highly successful house sales for Stobhall, Hensol House and Marcus. Previously he worked for Bonham’s for seven years as a General Valuer.

Mr Milner-Brown is a qualified Chartered Surveyor (registered valuer) with the RICS. He graduated from Southampton Solent University in 1996.
