A spellbound audience listened to virtuoso Joshua Bell at Sotheby's on 3 May as he played a selection of compositions, each inspired by works in our upcoming Impressionist & Modern Art Evening sale. From Auguste Rodin and César Franck to Marc Chagall and Pablo de Sarasate, Mr Bell’s pairings offered a fresh take on both art forms.
