For Delphine and Reed Krakoff, a house “tells you what it wants to be,” as the designing couple co-wrote in Houses That We Dreamt Of, a book devoted to the residences they filled with their collection of art and design. Now, after decades of acquiring, the Krakoffs have decided to part with some of their holdings in A Collection That We Dreamt Of, a dedicated auction at Sotheby’s (23 May, New York).
