First Look: Highlights from TEFAF New York Fall

Launch Slideshow

Europe’s most elegant art fair returns to New York this month after debuting two inaugural US editions last year. A spring presentation brought Modern and contemporary design, but TEFAF New York Fall resumes focus on categories like fine and decorative arts and jewellery from antiquity through the early 20th century. Among the fair’s 90 exhibitors is the Los Angeles County Museum of Art, which will debut new large-scale works by artist in residence Vera Lutter in a non-selling exhibition. With her signature camera obscura technique, Lutter uses several custom-built cameras to produce monumental images of LACMA’s collection of Old Master paintings.
