During spring 2017, artist Li Jin embarked on a whirlwind gustatory tour of the United States, from Las Vegas to New York. Recalling the artist’s sensory journey, Sotheby’s LA presents a June S|2 selling exhibition entitled Li Jin: A Devout Foodist’s Journey to the West. On 8 June, friends and artists alike celebrated Jin with a cocktail reception in Sotheby’s Century City galleries. Sotheby’s Andrea Fiuczynski and Mee-Seen Loong hosted the event, held in partnership with Maserati.
