The Contemporary Art Day Auction on 29 June 2017 in London brings together an exciting group of works by some of the most sought-after artists of the moment. With a strong emphasis on works by established artists, the sale includes outstanding examples of post-war abstract painting with works by Lucio Fontana, Josef Albers, Günther Uecker and Kenneth Noland, as well as more recent figurative paintings by artists such as Georg Baselitz, Lucian Freud and Michael Borremans. Highlights were on display at New Bond Street alongside works from the Ancient Marbles: Classical Sculpture and Works of Art on 12 June which totalled £3,524,000.
