Sotheby’s and the Lauder family share a long history of partnering in support of the Breast Cancer Research Foundation (BCRF), and on 12 October, members of this philanthropic family gathered at Sotheby’s New York to continue this legacy of giving. In celebration of the Fine Jewels auction and the launch of AERIN’s Tuberose Collection, Sotheby’s and Aerin Lauder hosted a private reception where guests tried on jewels from the sale, including two gold and diamond rings on offer from Lauder’s private collection, and experienced her new fragrances, Tuberose Le Jour and Tuberose Le Soir. In addition to a lush flower wall of white roses, hydrangeas and tuberoses, artists were on hand to paint and customise fragrance bottles. –Stephanie Sporn
