Sotheby’s and Huntsman hosted a dinner earlier this week in the private dining room at the legendary tailors’ premises at 11 Saville Row. The event was hosted by Sotheby’s Chairman Harry Dalmeny, Daryn Schnipper, Chairman of Sotheby’s Watches, and Huntsman owner Pierre Lagrange and CEO Philippe Brenninkmeijer. Guests were invited to learn about the master cutting techniques from one of the oldest and most established tailors in London whilst drinking champagne. The celebration of craftsmanship continued throughout the evening with guests given the opportunity to view items from the Celebration of the English Watch Part II: John Harrison’s Enduring Discovery and the upcoming sale of Important Watches in November.
