Sotheby’s fall season is off to an extra contemporary start. On 27 September, guests were invited to our New York headquarters for drinks and private viewings of a building’s worth of contemporary art – Henry Hudson’s S|2 show, Contemporary Art Online and Contemporary Curated sales and the Bowie/Collector travelling exhibition were all on view. Evening highlights included DJs, live music and a colourful candy bar, perfectly situated in front of an equally as vibrant Damien Hirst spin painting. Also on hand, at Henry Hudson’s selling exhibition Sun City Tanning, were Tommy Hilfiger, Dee Ocleppo Hilfiger and Marc Quinn.
