With just a few days remaining before its Asia Week sales, Sotheby’s hosted a reception on Saturday evening with a private exhibition viewing and cocktails. Guests filled the galleries, where more than 1,200 works of art spanning 3,000 years were on view. The well-attended event followed a lively afternoon symposium and lecture with Asian art experts. Sotheby’s own specialists were on hand and chatted with collectors about everything from classical Chinese furniture to cutting-edge Indian contemporary art. Enjoy a recap of the evening in our slideshow.
