LONDON - Last night's Old Master & British Paintings Evening sale brought £33.3 million, highlighted by Willem van de Velde the Younger's The Surrender of the Royal Prince During the Four Days' Battle, 1st-4th June 1666, Lucas Cranach the Elder's Feilitzsch Altarpiece, and this work, by Pieter Brueghel the Younger, The Battle Between Carnival and Lent, which sold for over £4.5 million.
