LONDON - On Sunday 17 April, Rebecca Anne Proctor, Editor-In-Chief of Harper's Bazaar Art Arabia, will chair a panel at Sotheby's in London that will feature Rose Issa, one of the most eminent curators, writers, critics and gallery owners across Europe and the Middle East alongside Shirin Tavakolian, director and owner of Shirin Gallery in Tehran and New York. They will be joined by Roxane Zand, Sotheby's Deputy Chairman for the Middle East and writer of the hugely popular Cultural Crossroads blog.

Ahead of Alchemy: Objects of Desire, the first-ever Iranian single owner sale, and the relaunch of our 20th century Art/Middle East sale - the panellists will be talking about Iranian modernism throughout the '60s and '70s, Tehran as an art hub in the '70s, as well as looking at how the city's art scene has evolved since then and what it looks like in 2016.

The event will be taking place at Sotheby's, 34-35 New Bond Street, London, W1S 2RT at 2pm on Sunday 17 April.
