Few films of the 1990s stirred up as much controversy as Larry Clark’s Kids, with its stark portrayal of New York teenagers delving into a world of sex, drugs and alcohol. It also helped launch the careers of several then-unknown actors including Chloë Sevigny and Rosario Dawson. As the film celebrates its 20th anniversary this month, Sotheby’s will offer a portfolio of fifteen photographs from the movie in the Contemporary Living auction on 22 July.
