NEW YORK - From 10-17 May highlights from the Frum Collection of Oceanic Art will be exhibited at Sotheby’s York Avenue galleries. These masterpieces from Oceania will be sold in Paris on 16 September, along with the entire Frum Collection.

The week of 12 May is a fantastic time to visit New York for those interested in the fields of African and Oceanic art. The Frum highlights will be shown alongside the sale exhibition for The Allan Stone Collection; African, Pre-columbian and American Indian art, Volume 2 and the African, Oceanic and Pre-Columbian art, including the collection of Jan Krugier. Exhibition hours are 10-5pm

As always, fabulous African, Oceanic and Pre-Columbian art is on view at both the MMA and the BMA. In addition, the Met is showing the historical exhibition: The Nelson A. Rockerfeller Vision: In Pursuit of the Best in the Arts of Africa, Oceania and the Americas.
