NEW YORK – Summer evenings are made for chilled wine, good company and, at Sotheby’s, great art. Our Open House on 26 July welcomed new collectors and experienced buyers alike who enjoyed Mirval rosé and other offerings from Sotheby’s Wine store, music, including a performance by The Hot Club of Flatbush, a diptyque fragrance bar and multiple galleries of exceptional art and design from the Contemporary Art Online, Made in America and Contemporary Living sales and The Collection of B.Z. + Michael Schwartz. “Auction houses are unique in that you can engage with work in a very intimate way,” said collector Noah Wunsch, who with his brother Eric of the Wunsch Americana Foundation, hosted the party.
