Han Solo returned to the Star Wars galaxy in The Force Awakens last December, appearing every bit the lovable antihero that fans know and love. The leather jacket worn by Harrison Ford in the film has been generously donated by the actor and will be sold to benefit NYU Langone Medical Center and FACES (Finding a Cure for Epilepsy and Seizures).

Very rarely do such iconic items – and one worn by such a beloved character and celebrated actor – come up for auction. This jacket, which is signed by the actor, is even more significant as Ford wore it in his final appearance in a Star Wars film. Don’t miss this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to own a very special piece of cinematic history.

This is a cause that's near and dear to me, and unlike the cynical Han Solo, I've got a good feeling about this.

Harrison Ford

Choosing the charity in honour of Dr. Orrin Devinsky, Harrison said, “I’ve been very impressed with the work NYU and the FACES team have done in the field of epilepsy research, and I hope this jacket will provide some means to further that exploration. This is a cause that’s near and dear to me, and unlike the cynical Han Solo, I’ve got a good feeling about this.”

The auction continues through Monday, 11 April at 6pm EST. Click here to bid.
