with top inset with a brown leather writing surface, above one frieze drawer flanked by a pair of drawers, the reverse with dummy drawers, the whole fitted with gilt-bronze foliate mounts, scrolled handles, chutes and sabots, raised on cabriole legs, remounted

Condition

This impressive bureau plat is in very good restored condition and is ready to place. The leather writing surface with old marks and scratches throughout, consistent with age and use. As stated in the printed catalogue, this bureau has been remounted.
