Condition

The board is stable and inspection under UV light reveals no sign of retouching. There is surface dirt to the pigment, predominantly in the sky and minor dark accretions, most notably to the upper centre of the composition. There are fly spots to the upper section of the left edge. There is some minor frame abrasion and discolouration to the canvas at the extreme edges, which is partly concealed when framed. This work is in overall good condition and may benefit from a clean.
