Both canvases are unlined, the paint surfaces are slightly dirty and the varnishes slightly discoloured and uneven. Both paintings have small scattered discoloured retouchings visible in the sky, which are confirmed under ultraviolet light. But they are otherwise appear to be largely untouched and in very good condition.
