Condition

Please note that this work is comprised of 13 individual planks, all of which have a nail on the reverse for hanging purposes. Minor splintering, chips and light scratches to the wood throughout, particularly within the grooves and to the edges of the work, however this is in line with the nature of the material and the artist's practice. There are areas throughout where the tempera paint appears to be faded or scratched off, this is particularly noticeable within the blue area of panel 1. There are areas that exhibit light surface dirt in place, however the dirt does not appear to be stuck to the surface and can be removed and cleaned. The nail on the reverse of plank 4 and 6 appears to have penetrated the wood and can be seen on the recto. Overall, the work appears to be in good original condition.
