Condition

The sheet has been adhered to a backing board but does not appear fully laid down. The backing board is, in turn, affixed to a mount with adhesive tape to all four edges. There are pinholes to all four corners with associated pinhead marks to the sheet. There is a small isolated area with fine lines of cracking in the upper left quadrant, only visible upon close inspection. There are a small number of flecks of foxing, one or two faint scuffs and a few instances of detritus and matter. There is time staining to the sheet, most visible towards the extreme edges. There is some light dirt to the sheet. This excepting, the work appears in very good overall condition, with strong vivid colours. The work is window mounted and held behind glass in a painted wooden frame. Please telephone the department on +44 (0) 207 293 6424 if you have any questions regarding the present work.
