Maroquin citron, décor mosaïqué en marches d’escalier dans le bas des plats et du dos en maroquin aubergine, titre en lettres d’or surmontant des rectangles de veau noir, large encadrement intérieur de filets or et palladium, doublure et gardes de soie noire et violette brochée, double garde de gardes marbrées, chemise doublée à bandes, étui (Pierre Legrain).Étui frotté, un côté manquant. Exemplaire relié par Pierre Legrain. Édition originale. 21 aquarelles de Chas-Laborde gravées en taille-douce, hors texte. Tirage à 140 exemplaires, un des 120 sur Hollande Van Gelder (n° 21). Envoi autographe signé d'auteur au collectionneur Georges Lang :"en témoignage de profonde sympathie littéraire et -- ce qui ne gâte rien -- d’amitié cette histoire dépourvue de toute contrainte mais crue et confite, sous la protection de Chas Laborde". Charles Laborde, dit Chas Laborde, illustra plusieurs œuvres de Mac Orlan dont cette Inflation sentimentale qui réunit poèmes et proses évoquant le monde des maisons closes et des amours vénales dans le Paris de l’après-guerre.
