the tantric diagram featuring the Tirthankara Mahavira seated at center within a six-pointed star placed inside a stylized circular lotus, the corners of the square surround bearing kneeling yakshis and the four cardinal directions beyond ornamented with gateways guarded by mythical beasts, the textile inscribed all over with seed syllables and mantras
Condition
In overall fair condition. Creasing along areas of fold lines. Pin holes throughout surface with additional larger holes in each of the four elephant emblems. Overall abrasions and loss to pigment.
