  • Height: 4 3/4 inches
seated in lalitasana in the posture of royal ease, on a double lotus base with right hand in varadamudra and left arm gracefully extending behind supporting the deity's upper body, draped in a dhoti with a sash wrapped around his legs, wearing pendent earrings, floral shaped arm bands, bracelets, necklace and decorative hair band, with three strands of matted hair running down his back, the face with serene expression Himalayan Art Resources item no. 13632.

Condition

Some losses to gilding due to overall areas of abrasion and accretion in the form of verdigris, particularly visible along the hair, the nose and right and left cheeks, the bottom half of the left leg, the right foot and pedestal and along the base. The right thumb is now missing and the fingertips in both hands are worn and corroded from age.
