Condition
The ceramic is sound. There is a crack to the plate measuring approximately 9 inches in length, running from the upper left of the plate's edge through the upper center of the plate, as visible in the catalogue illustration. This crack appears inherent to the firing process. There is a web of hairline crazing to the glaze throughout. On the reverse, there is an one-inch chip to the glaze in the lower right. The work is in good condition overall.
