Catalogue Note

Rolex incorporates a variety of different hardstones in their dials. The use of hardstone adds colour and beauty to their creations. Rolexes with the Khanjar, the Omani national emblem on the dial are known by collectors as “Khanjar” and very collectable today. This Day-Date, reference 18038 is stamped with the Khanjar at 6 o‘clock and the day and date, viewed through the gold frames on the dial are in Arabic language further increasing the rarity of this example.
