Description

Set throughout with round rubies, emeralds, sapphires and diamonds within star motifs, size 5¼, signed Cartier, numbered 645102, with French assay and workshop marks, and Swiss hallmarks.

Condition

In good condition, the mounting with surface scratches and nicks throughout, not noticeable when worn. Inscribed 750, and with French assay marks, for 18 karat gold. Also inscribed 50. The diamonds, estimated to weigh a total of approximately 0.60 carat, are approximately G-H color, VS clarity. The rubies are medium deep slightly purplish red, slightly to moderately included, a few with abrasions visible under 10x magnification. The sapphires are medium deep slightly violetish blue, slightly included, a few with abrasions visible under 10x magnification. The emeralds are medium green, slightly to moderately included, one with a chip to the crown noticeable under close inspection. Gross weight approximately 10 dwts. Width approximately ½ inch.
