Description

Claw-set with a cushion-shaped sapphire weighing 18.47 carats, the shoulders set with circular- and single-cut diamonds, size K.

Condition

Accompanied by Gübelin report no. 16038020, dated 18th March 2016, stating that the sapphire measuring 15.70 x 14.46 x 8.44mm and weighing 18.47 carats is of Burmese (Myanmar) origin, with no indications of heating. Accompanied by LFG report no. 314725, dated 12th November 2015, stating that the sapphire measuring 15.7 x 14.4 x 8.4mm is of Burmese origin, no indication of heating. Unsigned. Sapphire very slightly loose in mount but secure, some small points of wear on girdle. Estimated total diamond weight approximately 0.20-0.30 carats. Gross weight approximately 9.7 grams. Overall condition good.
