Inscribed on the reverse: 'Io sottoscritta dichiaro che questo dipinto e opera authentica/ di mio padrigno Profe Odoardo Borrani/ Professa Olimpia Zini Gremo' Examined in the frame. Original unlined condition. The surface presents well aside from minor bumping and pulling of the canvas visible running parallel to upper, lower and upper right edges. Stretcher marks are visible along the left edge and in the sky at upper right. There is finely patterned craquelure in isolated areas. Under UV: no apparent issues
