The movement is in working condition at the time of cataloguing. The date function is working properly. The bezel and band with minor pinhead dings and signs of wear throughout, however it is not apparent unless it is observed closely. Underneath the lugs with minor wear from removing the bracelet. The case back with many pinhead dings to the center. The case in good overall condition however shows signs of light polishing. The inside case back is stamped 6694. The endlinks is stamped "557, 78350". Please note that the movement has not been tested for the accuracy of time and may need a service at the buyer's expense. The Rolex reference 6694 is a special watch as it is one of the few vintage Rolex that is not “Chronometer Certified”.  First introduced in the 1960s, the reference 6694 is available in different dial variations. The present lot that we offer has a very clean and pristine silvered dial with all luminous plots present.  The considerate size of this watch and simple elegant dial is a fine timepiece that offers the classic Rolex look.
