Condition

EN : Good overall condition. The patinated copper presents with some light tarnishing overall, some surface scratches, some handling wear and some small humidity stains, consistent with age and use. The proper left wing presents with a small but deep scratch of approximately 1 cm. The gilt bronze presents with some vert-de-gris stains, mostly concentrated along the feet, as visible in the catalogue illustration. The glass shade presents with a few surface stains. It is slightly moving. Sotheby's does not guarantee electrical components and suggests having all wiring inspected by a licensed electrician. //// FR : Bon état général. Le cuivre patiné présente un léger ternissement sur l'ensemble, quelques rayures de surface, de l'usure d'usage et quelques petites tâches d'humidité, cohérent avec l'âge et l'utilisation. L'aile gauche présente une petite mais profonde rayure d'environ 1 cm. Le bronze doré présente des tâches de vert-de-gris, principalement concentrées sur les pieds, comme visible sur l'illustration du catalogue. Le globe en verre présente quelques petites tâches en surface et bouge légèrement sur le pied.
