Catalogue Note

Jean Baptiste Sécheret is a French painter and engraver. In 1983, he won the Paul-Louis Weiller Portrait Prize, and was a resident at Casa de Velázquez from 1984 to 1986. Since the 1980s, his work has been exhibited in Paris, Madrid, New York, Basel and various cities in France. Furthermore, many of his paintings belong to important international collections.
