Very close inspection reveals some faint handling marks to the extreme corner tips of the canvas with a minute speck of loss towards the lower right hand corner tip. Extremely close inspection reveals a fine ½ inch diameter circular network of craquelure 2 inches from the top and right edges within the upper right white flower. Under Ultraviolet light inspection, there is no evidence of restoration. Unframed.

“In a funny way, he was kind of repeating the history of art. It was like, now we’re doing my Flower period! Like Monet’s Water Lilies, van Gogh’s Flowers, the genre.” Gerard Malanga in: David Dalton, A Year in the Life of Andy Warhol, New York 2003, p. 74
