Condition

This work is in very good condition overall. There is evidence of wear and handling to the edges including silver gilt leaf that has transferred from the frame onto the canvas. The canvas is slightly loose on its stretcher. There is a minor 0.5-inch indentation in the upper left corner, approximately 4-inches from the top next to the third pink stripe from the left. Under close inspection, there are scattered minor and unobtrusive pinpoint losses visible throughout. The colors are bright and fresh. Tide-lines are present on the overlaps but do not appear recto. Under Ultraviolet light inspection, there is no evidence of restoration. Framed.
