This work is in very good condition overall. The blotchy paint scattered throughout the face and feather of the central figure is inherent to the artist's working method. There is a light surface accretion near the lower left corner, likely from time of execution. Upon close inspection, there is a minor paint loss located approximately 3.75 in. from the top edge and 20.5 in. from the right edge. Under Ultraviolet light inspection, evidence of a previous signature in the lower right hand corner and evidence of inpainting throughout fluoresces darkly; this is not the result of restoration but rather inherent to the artist's working method. Framed.
