Condition

Colour: The colour in the catalogue illustration is fairly accurate, although the overall tonality is slightly brighter and more vibrant in the original. Condition: This work is in very good condition. The sheet is hinged verso to the backing board in numerous places and undulates slightly. Extremely close inspection reveals some faint drying cracks in isolated places and some minute nicks in isolated places along each horizontal edge. Further extremely close inspection reveals three minute dogears; one to each extreme upper corner tip and one to the lower left hand corner tip. Very close inspection reveals a very short and unobtrusive crease to the centre right of the composition and a faint rub mark to the lower centre of the left edge.
